Schlechte Nachricht nach Amsterdam-Sieg

The Sea Devils continued their winning streak this weekend, this time beating the Amsterdam Admirals 24-17. The win puts the Sea Devils in a 3 way tie for first!

Star QB Casey Bramlet had to face his evil brother Cory Bramlet in the epic encounter. Amsterdam's QB, Cory, and Casey were separated soon after the death of their parents. While Casey was adopted by two, slightly impoverished parents who taught him the value of hard work, Cory was adopted by extremely rich (and later discovered to be very corrupt) media moguls. Cory, who later grew a goatee, became very spoiled, but was always very jeoulous of his brother. Once Casey established himself as a star QB, Cory became bent on one-upping him, installing a cyborg arm and finding the most expensive, evil QB coaches he could find. Despite Cory's taunting of Casey before and during the game, Casey responded by commenting that he "hoped the best team would win" and "nobody would get hurt." In the end, it was Casey's heroic play that won the game for the Sea Devils. When interviewed by reporters after the game, Cory yelled, "I shall have my revenge! Why must you always foil my plans, Casey?! Your Sea Devil too-goodedness will only get you so far." He continued, rubbing his goatee, "it would be a shame if you were injured before our next encounter, wouldn't it? wouldn't it Casey?!!"
