Punkte-Feuerwerk gegen Fire: Hamburg Sea Devils feiern höchsten Heimsieg der Teamgeschichte
Yup. The Sea Devils climbed the NFL Europe standings today by beating the Rhein Fire and establishing themselves firmly in a 4 way tie for second place.
Quarterback Casey Bramlet led the team with 3 touchdowns (one to 49er player Marcus Maxwell and another to former Stanford basketball player Teyo Johnson). The final score 34-9 doesn't even begin to reflect the destruction the Sea Devils handed to the Fire. Fire tight end Sean Mulcahy responded angrily to questions about the Fire's performance: "It was embarrassing. We don't deserve to be in the same building as these guys."
Amen.
Hopefully, the Sea Devils can continue to play this well later in the season.
"It's not a game, it's a party."
